Jones and California Republican Party Chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson welcomed Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil to the Senate Republican Caucus and the California Republican Party as she announced her departure from the Senate Democratic Caucus and her change in party affiliation.

Angels Camp, CA...On Monday July 29, our family & Angels Camp lost another angel. Ginger Duffy (The Country Cloth Shop), passed away in Idaho where she had recently moved to be with family. She touched many lives, always ready to listen, teach & share. We are forever grateful for the love she received in return. Mother of 6, grandmother of 15, great-grandmother of 9 (2 more great granddaughters are expected in Dec.), sister to Fred & Vickie. Her extended family of 'extra' sons, daughters, in-laws, friends & customers are too many to count.
