RFP for Behavioral Health Community Support Groups in Calaveras County
San Andreas, CA... A Request For Proposals (RFP) to provide community based support groups addressing mental health has been issued by Calaveras County Behavioral Health Services. Increased access to community based services and reduction of mental illness stigma are the primary goals of the community support groups. Proposals are sought from qualified individuals or organizations for groups in all parts of the county and serving all age groups....
Funds supporting community support groups are from the Mental Health Services Act (Proposition 63). Currently there are eleven funded community support groups providing services. Proposals to continue groups and proposals for new groups are being sought through the RFP. Current support groups address a range of needs for men, women, youth, and parents.
