Ironstone Vineyards Postponing Fireworks Show Due to Heat Warnings & Fire Risk

Murphys, CA...As many of you know, with the extremely high temperatures and current dry conditions, imminent fire danger is a subject that is not to be taken lightly. Of course, the enjoyment of our guests remains paramount, but it is only surpassed, in terms of importance, by the responsibility of providing a safe atmosphere for our patrons and surrounding community.

After discussions with our local fire department, the combination of the inherent fire danger that hosting a firework show carries and the forecasted temperatures of 100+ degrees, we have made the decision to postpone our Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks show to a later date (still to be determined).

We know how disappointing this may be for our patrons, vendors and community, and for that we sincerely apologize and hope it is understood that this is being done completely in the name of safety. We look forward to being able to reschedule this event and share lasting memories with everyone at a later date.

For those who had planned to visit us on July 5th, our Tasting Room will be open from 11am-5pm.

103°-109° for 9 days straight predicted in Murphys.

PG&E will likely fail to provide power to cool our homes for much of that time.
Maybe we can give them a rate increase.

No global warming though, it's all perfectly normal.

      Let the good times roll!

The highest recorded temperature in Murphys, California, in July is 113°F (45°C), which was recorded on July 15, 1972. This information is based on historical weather data collected over the years.

-Trump’s planning to round up and deport millions of people.

-Women have lost the ability to make life and death medical decisions.

      How’s that liberty?
      How’s that pursuit of happiness?

While you aren’t watching fireworks, read Project 2025. This is trump’s plan for a second term and its dark, folks.

Makes Agenda 21 look like childs play.

The governance plan within Project 2025 outlines key milestones that a Republican administration would aim to achieve, particularly within the first 180 days. While the specifics may vary, here are some general milestones that would likely be part of such a plan:

    1. **First 30 Days**:
    - **Executive Orders**: Issuing executive orders to reverse policies from the previous administration, particularly in areas like immigration, energy, and regulatory reform.
    - **Cabinet Appointments**: Rapidly confirming key cabinet members and other senior administration officials to ensure effective governance.
    - **Regulatory Freeze**: Implementing a freeze on new regulations and initiating a review of existing regulations with the goal of eliminating or revising those deemed burdensome.

    2. **First 60 Days**:
    - **Legislative Proposals**: Introducing key legislative proposals aligned with the administration's priorities, such as tax reform, healthcare changes, and education policy.
    - **Judicial Appointments**: Nominating federal judges who align with conservative judicial philosophies.
    - **Foreign Policy Shifts**: Taking steps to realign foreign policy, including renegotiating or withdrawing from international agreements and strengthening alliances with key partners.

    3. **First 90 Days**:
    - **Deregulation**: Advancing efforts to reduce federal regulations, especially those impacting businesses and industries, to promote economic growth.
    - **Immigration Policy**: Implementing new immigration policies aimed at securing borders and reforming the immigration system.
    - **Military and Defense**: Enhancing military readiness and beginning to implement defense policy changes.

    4. **First 180 Days**:
    - **Healthcare Reform**: Making significant progress on healthcare reforms aimed at increasing competition and reducing costs.
    - **Economic Policies**: Enacting economic policies designed to stimulate growth, including tax cuts and infrastructure investment.
    - **Social Policies**: Advancing conservative social policies on issues such as education, religious freedom, and family values.
    - **Institutional Reforms**: Proposing and starting to implement reforms to federal institutions to increase efficiency and accountability.

These milestones are designed to quickly implement the administration’s agenda, ensure a smooth transition, and begin fulfilling campaign promises. The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 provides a detailed framework to achieve these goals efficiently and effectively.
