Mokelumne Hill, CA...The Moke Hill Lions Club is hosting the July 4th Main Street Parade and Events in Mokelumne Hill on Thursday, July 4, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Main Street will be closed to traffic from 7:00 AM To 7:00 PM. The Parade will begin at 11:00 AM and will conclude by 12:00 PM.

Two of his films have been accepted into the prestigious Sundance Film Festival. Currently living in South Lake Tahoe, Manuel grew up in Valley Springs and used his hometown in his first full length movie First Date, which he co-directed with Darren Knapp, and was nominated for the NEXT Innovator Award at Sundance.

But after years of telling strangers’ stories, on 2024’s Hold Tight Together he decided to look inward. “This album doesn't have anyone who dies in it, which is rare for me,” he says with a laugh. “Every song is about my life and my family.”
