    Reality Check

The poll choice options are aberrant.
You can fight or contain fires and floods but you can do neither to an earthquake.
Fire insurance is the BIG Issue in California and the government dictates fire management.
We need to harvest the forest responsibly, maintain and thin the woods, graze the under-story and start fighting fires again instead of "Managing Fires".
Until this state can manage our woodlands resources responsibly we will get less and less insurance coverage for more and more premium cost because Insurance Company actuaries in places like Chicago, Delaware, Omaha and Kansas City will continue to think of California as a mismanaged tinderbox waiting to explode into flames.
    And they would be correct.

Log it, Graze it or Watch It Burn.

      @ Reality Check:

Yes, and past fire history tells us this exact thing. Seems those in-charge disregard and want to forget the lessons learned from the past. Many of the elected and hired public employees have serious narcissistic issues (Type A Personality.) They are just wanting to control and make new experimental avenues to continue to pat themselves on the back and expecting grand recognition from others. In-turn they set us all back and create a greater struggle to right their experiments and return to the proven and time tested solutions.

And when their forced experiments fail, these individuals need to be banished from the places they have destroyed. Ran out of the states, counties, towns. Never allowed in any public elected or hired position again.

NEW COMPANY
Posted on: 2019-09-18 11:03:49   By: Anonymous

NOT a "high risk" model - simply a "California Insurance Company" for ALL who live in California to purchase insurance at normal premiums for homeowners, earthquake, flood, etc. coverage. NOT a bottom line oriented model as private insurance companies are, but one that will not turn anyone down, and which would ultimately produce enough revenue to pay salaries, costs to run it, overhead costs, etc. Sort of an expanded, reshaped version of our current Cal Fair Plan - and for ALL those who live in California to buy from.
