The only problem is that the definition of a liberal has changed. JFK would be a conservative by todays standards. He would have considered most of Teddy's positions to be absurd. Don't quote Kennedy on being a liberal and try to apply that understanding or definition to the socialists of today who call themselves liberals. Call them what they are... Socialists and some down right Communists. Just go to a democrat rally and look for the signs supporting them from the Peoples Workers Party aka Communist Party. Did you know that there is no such thing as the "Peoples Workers Party" ? I just love how people regurgitate propaganda without validating any of the information they post. Both political parties attract their share of extremist organizations, there are just as many examples that can be cited for the GOP as the Dems.
