"I specialize in the areas of Probate, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and
Conservatorships. The common thread underlying all these areas is a duty of
care imposed by the law upon one individual, for the benefit of one or more others. It is important that this duty be understood clearly both by those upon whom it is laid, and by those for whom it is to be exercised.
I view my job as threefold. First, to fashion legal documents for individuals that will best utilize the law to insure them and their property the future care they desire. Second to work with the agents assigned, to insure that the original wishes are met. And finally, if necessary, to assist future beneficiaries in obtaining the benefits that were intended them.
Performing this role requires much more than just an understanding of the law.
It also requires an understanding of, and an empathy for our human limitations.
