REFUGE presents Hilary Watson on Sunday December 20th at 7pm. Cost is FREE. Born and raised in Riverside, Calif., HILARY WATSON purchased her first guitar – an electric guitar – from a pawnshop at the age of eleven. Fortunately for her family, the electronics didn’t work and she was never able to plug it into a amplifier. All in all, it worked well enough for her to learn her musical alphabet (C through B for you musicians out there).....

Calaveras County, CA....Local Children's Christian Author, Gloria Jean Bodenmuller, spoke on December 2nd at Chapel in the Pines for their Christmas luncheon. Gloria also signed her newest book entitled; "THE CHRISTMAS STAR". A sneak preview and orders were taken for "Our" new book; HEAVEN. God's Little Angels and I will be singing, Silent Night in English and German on the C.D. that comes with THE CHRISTMAS STAR book. "Our dear sweet friend, Lois Conklin will accompany us on the auto harp. On December 5th., we will have a book signing @ Angels Glad Tidings, Christian bookstore in Angels Camp. Owner Pam Wendt and I will offer....

The kids and staff of Christian Family Learning Center are dedicated to giving our community the best Christmas play every season at no charge to you. Valley Springs, CA.... On Saturday, November 14th, the Covenant Women Ministry Fellowship held its Holiday Boutique at Good Samaritan Church in Valley Springs. Hundreds of people came to shop, mingle and fill their bellies at the event which included scores of booths selling handmade wares, baked goods and brand new items. This holiday affair is a yearly occurrence and its purpose is twofold. In part, the Fellowship hopes to raise money by way of booth rentals and the donation of raffle items, but the boutique also presents a way for the Church and Women’s Group to provide outreach to the .....
