| Arnold, CA....For Chapel’s short-term mission trip to Greensburg, Kansas in May 2008 there will be a Fundraiser Dinner and Auction on Saturday, April 5th at 5:00 PM at Chapel in the Pines in Arnold. | Arnold, CA....Chapel in the Pines, on May11th through May 18, 2008, is on another rebuilding mission. Some may recall the mission to Long Beach, Mississippi back in March 2006. Long Beach, MS was one of many communities hit by Hurricane Katrina. Many homes were worked on that week. Many lives were encouraged by their loving acts of kindness...... |

Angels Camp, CA...The kids at Christian Family Learning Center are having a special chapel to honor all Fathers and Grandfathers on Friday February 22nd at 1pm. This is an annual event held every year for the Fathers of our students. The kids have been working hard preparing something special for their Dads and Granddads. There will be Special Music and presentations by Kindergarten through 8th grade CFLC students. There will be refreshments served folllowing chapel. "Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth." Psalm 124:4.

Arnold, CA...Josh Heller has informed us that AWANA Club for Chapel in The Pines of Arnold will be cancelled for Wednesday January 23rd due to weather and road conditions. We don't want anyone to take a chance of getting hurt.

Arnold, CA...Alex White, an adorable two year old from Africa, is well on his way to learn to communicate with the rest of the world. Thanks to the generosity of residents of Calaveras County, Alex and his parents, Joe and Smangele White, have over $14,000 to pay for his special schooling and speech therapy in Africa, enough for the next three years....

Arnold, CA...An All-Community Fundraiser was held for Alex White, who was born deaf, for medical expenses and continued therapy on October 19th that raised $14,000! This special event was hosted by the Chapel in the Pines of Arnold. It included a Zulu meal. There was live entertainment and a live auction....
