Minor Injuries To Lodi Man As His Truck Rolls 400Ft Down Embankment

Angels Camp, CA...A 25 year old Lodi man was driving his 1997 Ford F250 on SR-49 southbound, south of Red Hill Rd. at an unknown speed. The roadway was wet and he lost control of the pickup. As a result, it traveled of of the west road edge before rolling down a steep embankment. He was transported to Sonora Community Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. Traffic on Hwy 49 was affected yesterday as crews removed his pickup....

Traffic Update...Vehicle Recovery On Hwy 49 Near Carson Hill

Angels Camp, CA...TRAFFIC ADVISORY: We are coordinating efforts to recover a vehicle from a collision yesterday that is over the side at SR49 at Carson Hill [Between Angels Camp and Tuolumne County line]. At this time, it is unknown expected closure times and whether it will be one way traffic control and ultimately a full temporary closure while the vehicle is brought up by the tow company. There will be delays in the area so please plan ahead...
Angels Camp, CA...Just quick note with more to follow. Ownership of the historic art deco gem that is the Utica Hotel in Historic Downtown Angels is set to change soon. Century 21 Sierra Property's Janet Cuslidge said that escrow is set to close on April 15th. No hiccups are expected to delay it (Knock on wood). The new owners plan to keep the property as a hotel, saloon, restaurant and retail complex. This is great news for Angels Camp and our entire area. More to follow as concrete details come in after the escrow closes.

Except southwest 20 to 30 mph over ridges. Tonight Rain and snow showers. Colder. Lows 15 to 29 higher elevations...27 to 35 lower elevations. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Snow level 3500 feet. Prevailing southwest winds up to 15 mph...except southwest 15 to 25 mph over ridges.
