Resolution Declares June "Hunger Awareness Month" in Calaveras County

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 05/29/2008 08:37 AM
Calaveras County, CA....The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors declares June Hunger Awareness Month. An overwhelming number of our neighbors struggle to make ends meet and to put food on the table for their families. There is something you can do about it; you can help by assuring that there will be food available at the food bank for people in need. When you support the food bank, you strengthen the community safety net that helps people become healthy and productive members of our communities. Food helps to stabilize a family so they can make it through a crisis or difficult time.....

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 05/27/2008 12:06 AM
