FDA & CDC Lift Pause on Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) COVID-19 Vaccine Use Following Safety Review

Washington, DC...Following a thorough safety review, including two meetings of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have determined that the recommended pause regarding the use of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 Vaccine in the U.S. should be lifted and use of the vaccine should resume.

One-Way Traffic Controls on Hwy 16 During Maintenance Work

Amador County, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will employ one-way traffic control next week while performing maintenance work. Crews will conduct drainage work from Greilich Road to State Route 124 from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. beginning Sunday, April 25 through Friday, April 30, 2021.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays.

Washington, DC...It’s with great sadness that Jill and I learned of the passing of Vice President Walter Mondale, but great gratitude that we were able to call one of our nation’s most dedicated patriots and public servants a dear friend and mentor. Jill and I had the opportunity to speak to Fritz and his family over the weekend, to reflect on the years of friendship we shared, and how much we learned from and leaned on each other.
