Angels Camp, CA...Angels Camp - Dancers from the Studio 4 School of Dance will perform dance numbers in a variety of dance styles the first weekend in May at the Bret Harte Theater in Angels Camp. Dancers are excited to welcome the public once again to the beloved Studio 4 Dance Theater Spring Showcase.

Angels Camp, CA...On April 25th, twelve Bret Harte FFA members made their way down to Delta college to receive their California State FFA Degree. The State FFA degree is the highest honor that the state of California can bestow upon a FFA member. Qualifying for your State Degree is no easy task; it requires time, income, and years of service within the FFA organization.
Water: Our Gold UPUD's Video Premiere at Ironstone on May 4th

Murphys, CA...The Union Public Utility District (UPUD), City of Angels (COA), and Utica Water and Power Authority (Utica) invite the community to attend a free video premiere of “Water: Our Gold” at 6 p.m. Thursday May 4 at the Ironstone Vineyards Music Room. This video tells the fascinating, 170-year story of our community’s water supply dating back to the Gold Rush. Residents of Murphys, Douglas Flat, Vallecito, and Angels Camp will be amazed at the incredible journey their water takes from the Sierra Nevada to their taps. In addition to the video premiere, UPUD will present a history of its water system, a high-level educational overview of water rights will be presented, and attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at how Utica staff manages storm flows.

Scott Peters (D-CA), Jim Costa (D-CA), David Valadao (R-CA), Jimmy Panetta (D-CA) and John Garamendi (D-CA) along with nearly 50 others in re-introducing the Save Our Sequoias (SOS) Act on April 28th.

It is going to be outdoors in Columbia at Claire’s Claim: 22389 Parrotts Ferry Road from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 30th. Please bring a potluck dish and beverage to share.
