Valley Springs, CA...On May 15 at about 1:35AM a citizen activated 911 to report an unknown female attempting to break in to their residence. Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Burson Rd, Burson, to initiate an investigation. Upon deputies arrival, they located suspect Tammy Marie Youtsey, age 34, of San Andreas, on the ground with her hands secured behind her back with an extension cord.

Uvalde, TX...As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on May 24, 2022, by a gunman at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, May 28, 2022. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.
Injury DUI Collision Leads to Arrest of Volcano Woman

Ione, CA...On May 21, 2022, at approximately 2308 hours, CHP Amador Officers were dispatched to a head-on traffic collision on SR-88 east of Eggimm Lane. Upon are the investigating officers determined there were multiple injuries ranging Dorn minor to major on seven individuals. Additional resources from American Legion Ambulance, CalFire, local fire agencies, Sutter Creek PD, Jackson PD, and the Amador County Sheriffs Office responded to assist. The investigation determined that Suarez was driving westbound on SR-88 east of Eggimm Lane at an undetermined speed, when due to her level of intoxication, she allowed the vehicle she was driving to drift into the eastbound Use directly into the path of Cruz's vehicle.
Pittsburg Man Lost His Life in Hwy 4 Motorcycle Collision

Murphys, CA...On Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 5:15 pm, a 61 year old Pittsburg man was traveling eastbound on SR-4 west of Northwood Drive on a 2006 Harley Davidson at an unknown speed. For an unknown reason, he allowed his vehicle to leave the roadway and veer to the right, onto the south shoulder of SR-4. The vehicle continued for a short distance and then overturned. He was ejected off his motorcycle and struck a tree. Party #1 sustained fatal injuries as a result of this collision.
