San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Board of Sups approved a Minute Order this morning granting the Community Development Agency the authority to issue variances in setback requirements and in septic repair permit requests. This should eliminate the majority of the issues the Real Estate and Building community have been facing. The intent of this Minute Order will be written into an ordinance that should show up on the Board Agenda in the next couple of months. Language in the Minute Order grants the Community Development Agency to act as if the ordinance was already in place. We have an interview with the Builders Association's, Mike Borean enclosed....
