Angels Camp, CA...The Angels Camp Museum Foundation will be hosting a special dinner event September 8, 2018 to benefit the Angels Camp Museum Foundation Lecture Series. Thanks to the current owner and resident, Tad Folendorf, the Utica Mansion will once again be open to the public for tours, complete with a history of the home followed by a delicious dinner catered by Pickle Patch on the Utica Mansion grounds.

Murphys, CA...(Now Playing)..In their fourth season, Shakespeare on the Vine Theatre Company will present William Shakespeare’s comedy The Tempest -- critically thought to be the last play that Shakespeare wrote. The piece will be performed on the outdoor Arden Stage at Brice Station Vineyards. Director, Tara Kayton and her talented company will bring this magical story of family, art, and reunion to life from August 9 to September 1.Twelve years ago, Prospero was the beloved Duke of Milan, but his attention to books caused him to leave the management of his state to his brother, Antonio. Eventually, with the help of Alonso, Queen of Naples, Antonio usurped the dukedom for himself. Prospero and his baby daughter Miranda were put to sea and eventually landed on a fantastical island inhabited only by a native, Caliban, and a powerful spirit, Ariel.

We have to admit, we're crazy about the songs of Jimbo Scott and Grover Anderson. These two northern California singer/songwriters have joined forces for a folk-based act that includes rock and roll, blues, bluegrass, and straight up folk. With strong, clear vocals and tight harmonies, they sound like big bells when they start to sing.
