Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 4″ of new snow this morning at 5am as the system looks to be winding down. Today we’ll see a chance of snow mostly before 11am and winds decreasing to 5-11mph out of the SSW in the a.m. and shifting to the Northwest in the afternoon.Things are looking fairly clear into Friday as high pressure returns and the weekend has unsettled weather possibly but that’s still far out there and things are trending drier at this time. Don’t forget about our 2 tickets for $99 every Tuesday and 50% off lift tickets for students and Emergency Responders. And this Friday the 19th is SKI FOR FREE FRIDAY! Jamestown, CA...With an extraordinary spring wildflower season expected this year, California State Parks, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park and the California State Railroad Museum Foundation are proud to provide guests with a unique opportunity to experience spring wildflowers from aboard a historic train. While the Park is open daily, special Wildflower Train Rides are available on two weekends – April 13-14 & 20-21 – and depart from the Depot promptly at 3 p.m. Prior to boarding the train, passengers will have the opportunity to learn about the wildflowers of California’s Sierra Nevada foothills with an informative naturalist presentation at 2:30 p.m.

Bear Valley, CA...The Slush Cup is a fun race for the entire Bear Valley Ski community.
