Mokelumne Hilll, CA....On Saturday evening to a standing room only crowd, the Calaveras County Democratic Central Committee presented Calaveras County the opportunity to meet with actor/activist / author Mike Farrell at a book signing for his newly published book “Of Mule and Man” at the Historic Leger Hotel in Mokelumne Hill. With the mission of the CCDCC being to “encourage the growth and success of the Democratic Party within their county by coordinating and promoting Party activities” it seemed as if this particular hosted event was a success...

The Alliance's first event will take place Sunday, September 19 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Blackhawk Country Club in Danville (eastern Contra Costa County) and will double as a benefit for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, which will collect 100% of the proceeds from an on-site silent auction.
