San Andreas, CA... Meet Dover, a male Husky mix estimated to be between 4 and 5 years old. An affectionate and gentle dog, Dover has all the qualities of an emotional support or therapy dog. He loves to snuggle and is a favorite among volunteers for giving the best hugs. He is relaxed and quiet in his kennel and may be housebroken since he keeps it clean. Dover is also great with other dogs, both male and female, though a meet ‘n’ greet is required should you have another at home.

Mountain Ranch, CA...In 1950, we started out as a family operation with Erich’s father and mother, August and Freida Sender, in a century-old adobe building. The upstairs was home to the Sender family, and the first floor included groceries, a meat market, a bar, and a small eating place called Opa’s Smokehouse. On Christmas morning in 1968, the old store was destroyed by fire. But in June 1969, Sender’s Market, Inc. was opened. Since that time, there have been many changes, including remodeling, expansion, and the addition of many employees. That’s also when we added the truss plant and purchased Sender’s Market Ace Hardware in Valley Springs. Today, we're still family owned and still working hard to stock everything from pantry essentials to power tools. Whether you've got questions about the perfect cut of meat or the right kind of paint, our helpful, knowledgeable staff has you covered. Click on images below for larger versions

They offer full service repair and sales of tractors, mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, logsplitters, generators and rototillers. In addition, they provide sharpening service for chainsaws, mower blades and circular saw blades. They are located at 660 E. St. Charles St, San Andreas, CA.

Arnold, CA...Linda's Loft is a great new local business has recently opened up at 925 Hwy 4 in Arnold. A bit about Linda and Linda's Loft. "If you can dream it you can do it. It's never too late to follow your dreams is the moral of my story. I was lucky enough to grow up here and raise my kids here and all 5 of my grands live here too. When I decided to go for it and quit my job at Big Trees Market to open my own business some people thought I was a little crazy. I love being creative and crafting and am hoping to be introducing craft classes. I am including items made right here in our own county, I have Renner Olive Oil, Sherry's soaps, Poppy's Honey and more to come.
