Bear Valley, CA.....This elimination style group race through a course featuring both natural terrain and human-made features like jumps, rollers and banks. Open to skiers and snowboarders, the “Cross” has been an Olympic sport since 2006 and is a popular spectator experience. Advanced registration opens Feb 14 at Bear Valley. Same day registration from 8:30-9:30 am March 5th, in the main lodge at Bear Valley Mountain. Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 27″ for the current storm total! La Nina!!!!!!! Yesterdays winds kept some chairs closed but today The Grizzly Bowl and the Village side will reopen. Get on up here and schralp some lines!!!! Ask Patrol about gate openings/closures. The temps for this storm could be the coldest of the year so far, so snow/water ratios should be 20:1-25:1 with available water at 1″-2.5″. That means 2′-3′+!!!! Get on up here and schralp some lines!!!! Ask Patrol about gate openings/closures. The temps for this storm could be the coldest of the year so far, so snow/water ratios should be 15:1-20:1 with available water at 1″-2″. That means 2′+!!!! Get on up here and schralp some lines!!!! Bear Valley, CA...Today: Partly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 25 by 5pm. South southwest wind between 10 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Tonight: A 30 percent chance of snow after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. South southwest wind between 11 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected....

Bear Valley, CA....That's right! Due to the epic powder storm we had last week the Nightwings - Slopestyle Competition has been pushed back to February 26th! Northern California’s best skiers and riders will compete for $4000 in cash and prizes! We’ve got a load of cool swag that is up for grabs too, and every participant will go home with a swag bag of their very own. Spectators: Come hang with us slopeside and enjoy the show from a VIP seat at course side. We’ll be celebrating the night away with music, tasty grub, .....

Bear Valley, CA....When it rains it pours and in Bear Valley when snows it dumps. Last weeks 7+ feet of snow has certainly recharged the winter season. And if that wasn't enough, the National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for a series of ultra-cold moderate/strong winter storms to arrive later this week. So what's a powder crazed business like MAS supposed to do? ....
