Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Chance of snow today then the up to 7″ possible tonight and the same tomorrow….wamer temps could give us some rain then moving to snow as the warmer air mass pushes throught the area today. Grizz Bowl will be closed today to give the heavy wet snow a chance to bond to the old snow surface. There will be a chance of snow through out the day today. Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Well, somehow 6″ of new snow made it’s way here last night! Twice the forecasted amount…. Grizz Bowl will be on a delay today and possibly closed to give the heavy wet snow a chance to bond to the old snow surface. There will be a chance of snow through out the day today. Bear Valley, CA....Bear Valley Cross Country hosted the 38th Annual Bjornloppet Cross Country Ski Race this weekend. This is one of the longest running ski races in the west and it is open to all ages! In addition, the California Senior Winter Games were held this weekend. Registered Senior Winter Games athletes participated in the Bjornloppet races and used their race time results for both the Bjornloppet and for the California Senior Winter Games gold, silver and bronze medals. On Saturday the Freestyle (skate ski or stride) race began at 10:30am and racers had the choice of participating in the 20K race or 10K Open Division race. On Sunday, the racers compete din the 10K Classic (stride only) or Snowshoe race or the 5K Classic (stride only) or Snowshoe race. ...

Partly Sunny today…..As the jet stream is pushing farther north currently we should see fair weather through the weekend and the next possibility of snow will be Monday night and unsettled weather for the week.
