Lily, Pansy, Monica, Ariel, Milo & More Are Waiting For You! |
Posted by: thepinetree on 03/04/2014 12:31 PM
|
San Andreas, CA...Lily is a sweet little Chihuahua-Corgi mix who is approximately 5 years old and weighs 11 lbs 4 oz. Lily is a bit shy with people at first but soon warms right up to you especially if you rub her ears and scratch around her neck. If you have an empty lap, then Lily would love to take up residence there. Come by the Shelter to meet her and ask about our 55/5 program. She qualifies for that. She would be a great travel companion because of her compact size. Unfortunately, she did test positive for heartworm. So she will need treatment for that and will also need to be spayed before going to her forever home with you. Calaveras Humane Society will treat Lily for heartworm. Lily's intake A036508# Pansy is a lovely, mature little lady looking for a new love interest with a warm lap and big heart. She’s a black tri-colored Chihuahua mix who’s about 5 years old, admits to weighing 14.1 pounds, is Heartworm negative and had shots on arrival at the shelter (but will need a rabies shot). She loves a good, long snuggle with her person and will happily join you for a nap! She qualifies for the 55-5 program. Intake # A036553...

Bear Valley, CA..It was a beautiful sunny day at Bear Valley Cross Country where the 8th Annual JAZZTRAX SNOWSHOE STOMP was held. There were 45 racers at the start line, ages ranging from 3 to 86! Very exciting. The event was forwarded with the race director, Patty Jo Struve, playing the national anthem on the trumpet. As Paul Peterson, BVXC owner, explained the course set-up, racers were listening carefully to make sure they would not take any wrong turns....
