Bear Valley, CA....Hey Good People! Today is going to be a beautiful day of sunshine with the temps in the the low 40's with ENE winds from 0-5mph. High pressure ridging is in effect over the forecast area for the next 3/4 days before we see yet another return of snow by late Thursday evening. The season has been a producer so far and it looks to continue.........El Nino with the Godzilla one two punch is showing what real winters are supposed to be and we're stoked to have all ya'll come on up and enjoy our "Pure Mtn Fun" attitude coupled with the easiest drive on the west slope to any Ski Resort from the Bay Area and Central Valley. Arnold, CA...Forecast for West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada. Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Widespread rain and snow showers in the evening...then isolated rain and snow showers after midnight. Colder. Lows 15 to 30 higher elevations...28 to 36 lower elevations. No snow accumulation lower elevations...around 1 inch higher elevations. Snow level 5000 feet. Prevailing southwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southeast after midnight. Gusts up to 25 mph.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 10" of new snow overnight and more is on the way!!!!!!!!! 12" for the current cycle with 94" of the ground and 206" for the season total so far!!!! Today's high will be around 33F with winds out of the SSW from 10-24mph. 3-7" is expected to fall today and possibly another 1-2" tonight. Sunday looks to be mostly cloudy then clearing Monday for the rest of the week. It's powder riding time and all ya'll need to get on up here as the El Nino/Godzilla winter is in effect!!!! Come on up and Enjoy the easiest drive to any resort on the west slope, All Weather Highway 4, always open, easy and fun! Don't forget about our "Pure Mtn Fun" attitude.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! We picked up 5" of new snow at our study plot in the last 24hrs. Interestingly the town side picked up a bit more......orographic lift is all I have to say. A bag of warmer temps and mixed precipitation descended upon Bear Valley as the recent storm snow was a mixed bag. So with an 87" base at mid Mtn and 194" for the season total so far, things are much different than the last 3 years. Today's high should be right around 44F with winds out of the South from 3-7mph. Thursday looks to be even warmer by a few degrees before the next shot o' snow arrives Friday. We look to pick up another 8-18" by Saturday so it's a powder riding weekend my friends! Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!!!! A crisp clear morning is on order today with the current temp of 22F @ 5am and light winds out of the South from 8-11mph. We picked up 3"+ yesterday during the day before that system made it's way East. Today we'll see a chance of snow during the day and tonight we expect 3-5" of new snowfall then unsettled snowy weather will be in effect over the MLK weekend and into next week. The El Nino anomaly is doing it's work so far this season and we're stoked!!!! All aspect of the Mtn are operational and the grooming is awesome, coupled with abundant off-piste skiing and riding. Come on up and experience our "Pure Mtn Fun" attitude along side the best drive to any resort via all weather Hwy 4..

Prevailing south winds 10 to 25 mph with gusts to around 40 mph...except southwest 25 to 40 mph over ridges. Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Rain and snow showers in the evening... Then a chance of rain and snow showers after midnight. Colder. Lows 16 to 31 higher elevations...28 to 36 lower elevations. No snow accumulation lower elevations...1 to 3 inches higher elevations. Snow level 5000 feet decreasing to 4000 feet after midnight. Prevailing south winds up to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph.
