Bear Valley, CA...We've got so much to see and do! The Lodge is hosting Brian Jirka Sunday evening in the Cathedral Lounge beginning at 6pm. Bring your dancing shoes! The Creekside Bistro & Bar is open for dining from 5pm – 9pm, Thursday-Sunday evenings. Come and enjoy a relaxing fireside dinner on the deck. Sky High pizza, open nightly will also offer lunch both Saturday and Sunday featuring, burgers, pizza-by-the-slice and a variety of cold brews.

San Andreas, CA...September 1, 2015- Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) will be holding its 17th Annual Fall Health Fair on Saturday, September 26th from 7am to noon on the Hospital Campus in San Andreas. “Hosting our community health fairs allows us to express our gratitude to those that entrust us with their health care needs,” said Craig Marks, Hospital President. “Our health fairs benefit individuals that are underserved or working towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Our providers and staff are here to share preventative care and health maintenance tips. Providing affordable health care services is one way we serve our community. This is a joint effort with many other entities working together, especially the Health Care District that helps fund this initiative, to ensure that Calaveras County residents can thrive in a healthy community.”

| Angels Camp, CA...Bret Harte Union High School District is pleased to announce that the annual Back to School Night has been scheduled for Monday, August 31. The campus will be open to parents beginning at 5:45 p.m. Parents should plan to arrive no later than 6:00 p.m. in order to pick up their student’s schedule. The principal’s welcome will begin at 6:10 p.m. in the Lower Gym. Following this assembly, parents will have the opportunity to attend all of their student’s classes, meet the teachers and obtain more information regarding the programs in which their child is enrolled...
