Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!!!! Happy Holidays! Happy New Year!! A beautiful day is ahead with abundant sunshine temps in the upper 20's and winds out of the East from 10-21mph. That being said, wind chill factor today could be around 0F in the first few hours of the morning and then warming a bit as the day progresses so dress warm and use your sunscreen!!!! The arrival of snow on Sunday night will give way to continued snowfall through Wednesday morning. Totals are still unclear with that system so stay tuned for more as the weekend arrives. We have all aspects of the Mtn open now and with the coming system we should see the rest of the Lower Mtn come online also. We are OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK!!!!!!! The current snowfall has set us up for a great Holiday season so bring your family & friends and experience our "Pure Mountain Fun!"

Bear Valley, CA...As we round out the year here at Bear Valley we're stoked to see all of our guests enjoying the recent snowfall and a beautiful return of Winter which has been short on snowfall over the last three years. Today is no exception to that rule.........A beautiful Sunny day with temps in the upper 20's and winds out of the ENE from 7-10mph. Continued beautiful conditions through the weekend will be in effect and then another system makes it's way into the forecast area by Monday and snowfall could last into Wednesday evening. Stay tuned for more on that. Grooming is excellent as is most off-piste skiing/riding currently. Nastar will be up and running through the weekend so it's perfect weather and conditions for a trip to Bear Valley and with the New Years Eve festivities in the Village it's not to be missed! A beautiful Blue Bird day is ahead and temps will hover right around 32F with a WSW wind from 5-7mph. Grooming is excellent as is most off-piste skiing/riding currently. Nastar will be up and running through the weekend so it's perfect weather and conditions for a trip to Bear Valley and with the New Years Eve festivities in the Village it's not to be missed! Bear Valley, CA...It looks to be perfect weather for the holiday vacation week for many. Today: Mostly cloudy. Numerous snow showers in the morning... Then scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Highs 21 to 36 higher elevations...33 to 39 lower elevations. Little or no snow accumulation lower elevations...up to 1 inch higher elevations. Light winds. Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers in the evening...then mostly clear after midnight. Colder. Lows 9 to 24 higher elevations...21 to 31 lower elevations. Prevailing northeast winds up to 10 mph.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!!!! Happy Holidays! Snowing lightly currently at 5am and winds are out of the SSE from 9-14mph. 1-2" is expected today then by tonight the system should push it's way East and clearing skies will be the thing after midnight. Cold air associated with this system will bring the night time low's in around the mid teens the next few nights and daytime highs low to mid 30's. High pressure looks to be in place for the next week so sunshine and great skiing/riding will be had. It's perfect weather and conditions for a trip to Bear Valley and with the New Years Eve festivities in the Village it's not to be missed! We are OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK!!!!!!! Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!!!! Happy Holidays! 22" in 48hrs, 48"+ in the last week and more is coming!!!!!! 141" for the season total now and a base of 75"!!!!!!! A beautiful start to the Holiday season was had on Christmas day as Ullr delivered and everyone had a ripping pow day! Today and Sunday looks to be Bluebird style conditions with soft snow skiing and riding, daytime temps in the low to mid 30's with ENE winds today up to 35mph and then Sunday those winds back down to the single digits. Another shot o' snow come Sunday Night and Monday and then clearing/high pressure returns for 4-5 days...

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!!!! 23" of new in the last 96hrs at the base area and around 25"+ up on the summit and with wind redistribution on some spots over the hill we have seen up to 30"! Our base is now at 58" and a season total of 118"!!!!!! Compare that to 121" for the whole season last year and its shows El Nino is in effect!
