The conditions have never been better, make plans to come up and join us for the President's week holiday. With a base of nearly 7ft and growing, we've got powder for you powder hounds and the grooming team has been doing an excellent job keeping the beginner and intermediate terrain in great shape. Today's storm will continue thru tonight and could bring us up to another 20" by tomorrow morning. The Backcountry avalanche hazard is HIGH!! MAS Offering Another "Bear Tracker" Snowcat Adventure This Wednesday!

Bear Valley, CA....The snow keeps piling up but before this storm cycle ends MAS is offering yet another “Bear Tracker” Snowcat Adventure at the Bear Valley Resort this Wednesday, February 18th. If you are an enthusiastic powder skier or rider, this is a unique opportunity to experience untracked snow in a backcountry setting without having to hike back to the top. Spaces are limited and advanced registrations are required. Open to advanced skiers and snowboarders. ($60 & discounted lift tickets available). More information can be found on the MAS website.

Bear Valley, CA...We sent one of our award winning, hard hitting members of the fourth estate out into the field this morning to see how the latest weather system was benefiting our area. With over four feet of fresh white frosting in the last week, mother nature has been playing catchup. Bear Valley, CA.....On Saturday March 7th, cross country skiers from near and far will assemble in the Bear Valley Meadow for the 36th running of the Bjornloppet Ski Race and Festival. With a 10:30 am start, The Bjornloppet, meaning Bear Race in Norwegian, is enjoyed by young and old alike.
