Bear Valley, CA...Now in its 50th year, the Bear Valley Music Festival begins on Friday, July 20 and runs through Sunday, August 5, 2018 with a total of 15 concerts including a special free family matinee on Sunday, August 5. The festival showcases a wide selection of artists and genres including rock, classical, Broadway and jazz.

Prevailing east winds 5 to 15 mph shifting to the southwest in the afternoon. Tonight Clear. Lows 46 to 61 higher elevations...58 to 66 lower elevations. Prevailing southwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the east after midnight.

Markleeville, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be performing one way traffic control on northbound and southbound State Route 89 from Montgomery Street in Markleeville to Turtle Rock Park Road for pavement repair. Crews will be working beginning Monday, June 11, 2018, through Friday, June 15, 2018, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
