Bear Valley, CA...We brought you the Winter Music Series and now we are bringing you the Summer Music Series! BV Live Presents! will start bringing you LIVE MUSIC at the mountain during the warm summer months. Live music will be every Saturday night during summer operations (June 30th – Labor Day weekend) out on the Monte Wolfe Saloon Deck – weather permitting.

Manslaughter Charges for Dorrington Man in Death of Geoffrey Ramsay, 65 of Stayton, OR |

Bear Valley, CA...Montgomery was driving his 2001 Toyota 4 Runner westbound on State Route 4 east of Bear Valley Road. Ramsay was driving his 2016 Indian Roadmaster motorcycle pulling a motorcycle trailer eastbound on State Route 4, approaching Montgomery's vehicle. Due to his level of intoxication, Montgomery allowed his vehicle to drift into the eastbound lane directly into the path of the motorcycle. Montgomery's vehicle collided head-on with the motorcycle. Ramsay was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. Montgomery's vehicle overturned and came to rest blocking the roadway.

We touched bases with CHP San Andreas and officers are still arriving on scene...more to follow. Update as of 2:04....Dispatch logs now indicating one fatality. Please use caution in the area...

Now, his sons, daughters, and daughter in law have all helped run the business along with some fantastic local employees. The crew has completed small to very large projects. Bear Valley, CA...From the Alpine Sheriff's Office...A reminder to our hiking visitors: When leaving your car to hike one of our many beautiful trails, please do not leave your credit cards, wallets or purses behind in your vehicle. Cars parked at trailheads are a common target of thieves who then go use your credit and debit cards as quickly as possible before you return from your hike.
