San Andreas, CA... The Calaveras County Commission on Aging (CCCOA) is again this year highlighting older adults who have made an impact on our community. CCCOA acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors and is empowered to perform such functions as are consistent with its purposes: to help the community to provide an environment conducive to the well-being of older people; to concern itself with preventing problems; to deal with problems after they occur; and to attempt to be aware of and communicate regarding issues affecting seniors in Calaveras County...
