Jackson, CA ... Master Food Preserver Janis Bass will be giving a class in Colorful Pickles on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the Amador County GSA Building, 12200-B Airport Road, Jackson. The class will be from 10 am to noon. All classes are free. Food Preservation classes are sponsored by Amador/Calaveras County Master Food Preserver monthly at alternating locations.

Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the 2014 Calaveras Home & Garden Show the weekend of March 29th & 30th at Frogtown in Angels Camp. This event is sponsored by Century 21 Tri-Dam Realty, Barrel of Monkeez and Mark Twain Medical Center. "We are really excited about this year's event," said Chamber of Commerce Interim Executive Director Mindy Miller Boyette. "We have a lot of returning vendors and a good mix of new vendors coming.
