(Catch a Special Thrill) for Kids Fishing Fun Fair at New Melones Lake. This year's event is scheduled for June 12, 2010, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The fair is co-sponsored by the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, a national non-profit organization whose goal is “to provide disabled and disadvantaged children ages 5-16 the opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing.”...

Scott's Yogurt Factory would like to announce the newest Flavor of the Week, Noel Helmbrecht. Noel has lived in Angels Camp since 197, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and taught at Bret Harte for 20 years. He is a retired teacher who still tutors students within Calaveras County. He is the current Vice President for Habitat for Humanity, a Union Congregational Church Bible study leader and is the co-chair for the California alumni scholarship association. His scholarship activities involve awarding a current Calaveras .......
The Angels Camp City Council meeting of June 15th has been rescheduled to June 22nd at the firehouse.
