Still No Lease Agremeent for Calaveras Visitor's Bureau |

| Angels Camp, CA.....At tonight's Angels Camp City Council meeting, one of the big agenda items was mutual agreement on the Lease for the CVB office on Main Street in Angels Camp. Their rent agreement up to this point has been to provide marketing services to help raise the TOT or Transient Occupancy Revenue for the City. The City if Angels Camp originally proposed charging the CVB $2,000 per month due to City budget issues to renew the lease on their downtown location. That amount has come down to $1,100 per month and the two parties have seemed close to finalizing and agreement for weeks. The Visitor's Bureau presented the City Council with Lease Clarifications at the meeting this evening that they felt needed clarifying from the original agreement... |

Calaveras Visitor's Bureau Lease Agreement to Be Discussed at Angels Camp City Council Meeting |

| Angels Camp, CA....The CVB lease agreement will be discussed at Tuesday's City Council Meeting. The City Council has given a lease agreement to the CVB Board to sign. . The Board sent the lease agreement back to the city council with revisions including changing the lease term (expires 12-31-2011 instead of 06-30-2012) and clarifying language pertaining to utilities and maintenance. Lisa Mayo will be attending Tuesday night’s city council meeting, to answer any questions, and the CVB board hopes the issue will be resolved at the meeting. |

Angels Camp, CA...Carols, customers and holiday cheer could not be dissuaded by a bit of rain as the annual Angels Camp Business Association Open House brought out the throngs of local boosters, shoppers and out of town visitors to our historic downtown Angels Camp to help set the stage for what promises to be a wonderful shopping season! Santa Claus made a great entrance as the master of ceremonies for the parade this year. Families from far and wide came to greet Mr. Claus and see that all their holiday wishes found their way to the North Pole.....

Angels Camp, CA....The Calaveras Children’s Repertory Theatre put on their production of "Grease" this weekend at the Bret Harte Theater/ CCRT is a non profit corporation that currently is funded solely by the support of local businesses and individuals. CCRT puts on 2 musicals a year under the direction of Isabel Barthelemy-Franke. Every child that wishes to be in a play lands a role or part in each production and there is no charge to participate.....

Angels Camp, CA....The results of Angels Camp's annual Christmas decorating contest are in and 10 businesses received ribbons or certificates of honor from Bob Menary, president of the Angels Camp Business Association, the contest sponsor. The contest had two categories of judging -- window and building. According to the contest chairman Jacque Hash, judges looked for Christmas theme, creativity, originality and visibility. ....
