| Altaville, CA.....Altaville resident, Ann Marie Pittman, so sadly passed away on April 8, 2011 at her residence. She was only 33. Ann Marie lived in Altaville for 3 years. She was a Homemaker for 10 years. Ann was a member of the Union Congregational Church in Angels Camp. She is survived by her husband, Ray Pittman and two children, Rayven and Ratana..... |

Angels Camp, CA...The Youth Parade, sponsored by Soroptimist International of Calaveras County since 1947, is scheduled for Thursday, May 19 at 10:00 AM on Main Street in Historic Downtown Angels Camp. "Pirates of the Carrots and Beans" is this year's theme. All youth between the ages of infant to 18 years of age are invited and encouraged to participate in the parade. Prizes will be awarded in various categories......

Dance Instructor Gets 60 Days in Jail |

Calaveras County, CA...The Satori Dance Teacher, Sarah Mae Davey, appeared in Court again for charges filed against her for sexual misconduct with a 16 year old student. She pleaded No Contest to the the charges back in March. She was sentenced up to 60 days in jail, and will remain on probation after that. She may be eligible to serve a portion of her sentence via electronic monitoring....
