Angels Camp, CA...Grace Hills Bible Church of Angels Camp will be hosting Church in the Park this Sunday, April 29th in Utica Park (downtown Angels Camp). The church service begins at 10am. This is a family-friendly event that includes fun activities for children, fellowship for adults and a bbq lunch provided for all following the service. California Poppies are in full effect right now and one of the best ways to take them all in is by hiking and mountain biking the trails at New Melones Reservoir. One of the locals’ favorite trails for viewing poppies is the 4-mile Angels Creek loop (pictured above). This moderate, single track rolling trail with stunning views of New Melones at every bend follows its way along the side of a hillside. In Spring (right now!) the poppies are endless and the temperatures are perfect....

Angels Camp, CA...The Angels Camp Museum in conjunction with the Angels Camp Commemorative Committee will present an antique car rally with more than 50 old and rare automobiles for display. Cars from the early 1900s, including the 1925 Dodge Angels Camp Chemical Engine Fire Truck will be seen. Admission to the car rally includes admission to the museum. The cars will drive through historic downtown Angels Camp at 11:00 AM then be back at the museum for the rest of the day. Here is a chance to see a part of automotive history!...

Jenny Lind, Mark Twain and Bret Scored on Wins. Now Winners will move on to the state championships on May 12th. The results are enclosed...
