Angels Camp, CA....This is Studio 4 Dance Theater’s third annual Spring Showcase, which includes a mix of ballet, jazz, hip hop and contemporary dance. This year’s show features “Sleeping Beauty’s Wedding,” an abbreviated version of the third act of the timeless “Sleeping Beauty” ballet. “The Spring Showcase gives our Studio 4 dancers a chance to stretch their wings and experiment with a range of dance styles and choreography,” said Artistic Director Tammie Lee. “Elizabeth Ernst is choreographing her first hip hop piece with Studio 4 Dance Theater, and two senior dancers, Aeisha Carillo and Candace Collum, will choreograph and perform their own numbers. I am proud to support their talent and ambition.”

Angels Camp Police Department’s “Maximum Enforcement Night.”

Angels Camp, CA...04/12/13, from 2 PM until midnight, the Angels Camp PD, in cooperation with the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a “maximum enforcement” operation. Officers and deputies were assigned to work in Angels Camp and the surrounding area to conduct “post-release community supervision” (AB 109) searches, as well as probation and parole searches. Additionally, officers and deputies were instructed to look out for impaired drivers and other subjects that are under the influence of alcohol and / or narcotics.
