Angels Camp, CA....The Angels Camp City Council will meet Tuesday, April 1st starting at 4:30pm with a City Council/Planning Commission Workshop with a Presentation of the Stanislaus office park proposal by Vivian Danielson of Prudential Realty. At 5pm they will have a Trail Plan Presentation by Pat McGreevy. The regular meeting will then follow at 6pm. The full agenda is enclosed for your viewing pleasure......

Angels Camp, CA....On Saturday, April 5th, 2008, the Angelus Ranus 4-H Club will host the 20th Annual Youth Poultry Show at the Fairgrounds in Angels Camp. Judging begins at 9:00 am and Showmanship begins at 10:00 am. Poultry types are ducks, geese, chickens, bantams, turkeys and any other type of birds. Kids from all over Northern California will bring their birds to show. Prizes are given for Best of Show, $100.00, Reserve of Show, $50.00. and many more.....

It’s time to start thinking about the next graduating senior class and their fun and exciting Sober Grad Night Party. Sober Grad Night began at Bret Harte in 1989. Those parents took the idea from Napa High School. Calaveras High joined in the fun in 1992. The purpose of Sober Grad Night is to keep our teenagers in a safe and chemical free environment, while giving them a fun graduation party at the same time. There have been no deaths or seniors....

Angels Camp, CA...We have received the CAL Fire report on the vehicle fire that occurred yesterday afternoon at 600 Main Street N. at 602 Hwy 49 in Angels Camop. No injuries were reported. Cause of the fire was engine fire. Full fire report enclosed....

Angels Camp, CA...A car has been involved in a vehicle fire at the stoplight on highway 4 and 49 intersection across from Starbucks in Angels Camp. Fire personal are on scene and have extinguished the fire. No injuries have been reported . The vehicle was traveling east bound on highway 4. The driver stopped at a red light and noticed smoke rising from the engine compartment and immediately called 911....
