Frogtown, CA...Thanks to the Friends of the Fair and local contractor Micah Rolleri, the Floriculture Building has a new roof. The Roof had been deteriorating for years and was no longer weather proof. Fair CEO Giannini went to the Friends and expressed her concerns about the roof. The Friends took action and hired Rolleri to not just repair the roof but replace it. A new metal roof now tops the Floriculture Building. The building now can be rented year around and also store the Fair’s equipment.

Kindness Week is February 11-17, 2013 |
Posted by: thepinetree on 01/06/2013 02:12 PM
|
Calaveras County and Beyond...Kindness Week is February 11-17, 2013! The idea is simple: When we make a conscious effort to perform a kind act, ripples of kindness flow forth. The grassroots effort to promote random acts of kindness firmly took hold in 1995 when the Angels Camp City Council issued a proclamation and The City of Angels became the first designated "Kindness Zone" in the United States. Since then, the ripples of kindness have continued to spread and now wash over all Calaveras County Schools in a celebration of kindness each February. For project information, please visit www.theseedsofkindness.com To learn more about random acts of kindness activities visit the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation website at www.actsofkindness.org....
