Angels Camp, CA...Loraine (Loddie) Smith (Croshaw) MacEachern, 80, died Sunday, July 7th, 2013, at her home surrounded by family. Loddie was born February 20, 1933, in Angels Camp, Ca, to Ruby Carrick and Austin Tinley Smith. She was a loving homemaker and an entrepreneur. Her businesses ranged from restaurants, cosmetics, retail, vitamins to real estate. She married Leroy (Jim) MacEachern in Kailua, Hawaii on December 22, 2002. She loved tropical locations and spent abundant time in Florida and Hawaii...

Angels Camp, CA...On the 4th of July a very special Patriotic Picnic in the Park was held to celebrate our local veterans, listen to great music by the US Navel Sea Cadets' "Band of the West" and much more. One very poignant event was the reading of the Declaration of Independence by Bill Soest. It was accompanied by music in the background by the "Band of the West" We have this portion in a separate video. We also have video clips of the Copperopolis VFW Post 12118 and their parade of colors, Presentation of quilts honoring some very special veterans by "Quilts of Honor" led by Gail Belmont and more...

| Angels Camp, CA...Hi our dog went missing on the 4th of July. He is Jack Russel Rat-Terrior. Not neutered and very sweet. His name is Jackson and about 3 years old. My daughters are very sad and worried about him. He went missing off of Meacham Ranch road in Angels Camp. |

Vallecito, CA...Please help us find our dog Charlie. He ran away last night during the loud fireworks in Vallecito. He is white and tan, rat terrior mix, wearing a brown collar with Angels Vet tag. Angels Camp, CA...Stop by Calaveras Humane Society's NEW Thrift Store Cat Adoption Center in Angels Camp, located in Angels Town Center (240 S. Main St./Hwy 49). Regular hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm. SPECIAL HOURS THIS WEEK: Due to the 4th Of July, the Thrift Store/Adoption Center's hours on Thursday this week will be 11am to 4pm. Regular hours apply on Friday and Saturday. Come on in and check out the new adoption center, meet some cute and cuddly kitties, and browse the new thrift store while you're there. We'd love to see you and so would the kitties!
