Murphys, CA...Rocky Hill was trick or treating ground zero again this year as the streets were packed trick or treater to trick or treater on October 31st. We stopped by a few other locations as well from banks to night spots. Video of Rocky Hill Will be uploaded later...

Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Joins the Mercy Telehealth Network for Stroke Care |

Sacramento, CA...The Mercy Telehealth Network, which connects Mercy stroke specialists to stroke patients in emergency rooms at rural and community hospitals, has expanded its network reach with the addition of Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital in San Andreas. The Mercy Telehealth Network’s telestroke service uses InTouch Health wireless remote robots to connect stroke patients to neurologists from the Mercy Neurological Institute in Sacramento. This technology is the only FDA approved telehealth technology available. Stroke specialists at the hub “control centers” remotely control the wireless, mobile robots located at 12 Northern and Central California hospitals in the network, which enable them to examine and talk directly to patients, consult with on-site physicians, assist and help direct therapy and interact directly with the family. The Mercy Telehealth Network hubs are located at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento and Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael.

The Department of Fish and Game is ready to deliver rainbow and brown trout to the fish-raising pens at New Melones Lake. Kokanee Power (who donated the pens) is getting the pens ready, but there has been some damage to them. They need some able-bodied volunteers in the next few days to assist them with repairing the pens and placing them in the water at the marina. If you can help at all, please call Ken at (209) 601-4462 and offer your help- even for a few hours....
