SAN ANDREAS, CA – June 13, 2013- Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) will be holding its 3rd Annual Summer Health Fair on Saturday, June 29th, from 8am to Noon at La Contenta Plaza in Valley Springs. Over forty community health related service groups will participate in this community-wide event. A wealth of information will be available on topics such as senior health services, nutrition, fitness and diabetes. There will also be a variety of free health screenings – body fat, physical fitness levels, stress levels, and metabolic screenings...

The Sonora Regional medical Center foundation Annual Golf tournament has engaged a helicopter to drop numbered golf balls onto the 18th fairway. You can buy a $10 chance to win $1000 should your ball be the winning one entering the hole.
Proceeds benefit project HOPE. Come observe the ball drop and buy a chance to win.

San Andreas, CA...The agenda for today's board meeting is enclosed and following is the notice that the budget meeting for the the 2013/2014 budget are upon us. COUNTY OF CALAVERAS FY 2013/14 RECOMMENDED BUDGET HEARINGS, TENTATIVE SCHEDULE: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will hold Recommended Budget Hearings commencing on June 11, 2013 through June 14, 2013, or until completion. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 – (following regular Board meeting, if time permits) Board Chambers, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, CA 95249 Items not heard on Tuesday, June 11th, will be continued as follows, until completed: Wednesday through Friday beginning at 9:00 AM. June 12, 13 & 14, 2013 as necessary. CalWorks Sequoia Room, 509 E. St. Charles Street San Andreas, CA 95249. These hearings are open to any member of the general public wishing to be heard regarding any item of the budget or for the inclusion of additional items.
