Sonora, CA...Following up with the solicitation of comments for the pending State OHV grant program, the web-based comment portal is now open through May 6, 2024. Stanislaus National Forest recreation specialists and OHV managers have completed three draft grants for consideration by the California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division.

Ahead of his State of the Union Address, the President is convening his Competition Council this afternoon to announce new actions to crack down on hidden junk fees and promote competition. President Biden is establishing a new strike force, co-chaired by the Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission, to crack down on illegal pricing.
