ACLU Targets Amazon Over Dragnet Surveillance Tool Citing Privacy Concerns

San Francisco, CA...Today the American Civil Liberties Union Foundations of California released emails between Amazon employees and local law enforcement revealing how the company has been pushing its facial recognition product, prompting privacy objections about how the technology is being used. The emails were obtained through freedom of information requests submitted by the ACLU.

Sacramento, CA...Assemblyman Frank Bigelow and staff helped our local Frog Committee launch our green friends into low earth, triple jump orbit this morning at the 44th Annual Capital Frog Jump. This was the last stop on the 2018, 90th Frog Jump Birthday tour. The tour builds excitement for the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee. This year’s event is May 17-20 at Frogtown in Angels Camp.

A law that forces the release of illegal immigrant criminals, drug dealers, gang members, and violent predators into your communities. California’s law provides safe harbor to some of the most vicious and violent offenders on Earth, like MS-13 gang members putting innocent men, women, and children at the mercy of these sadistic criminals.
