Calaveras County Democratic Central Committee Elects New Officers for 2009-2010

At the regular meeting of the Calaveras County Democratic Central Committee (CCDCC) held on Thursday, December 11, members elected officers to serve in 2009. In addition, three new CCDCC members were voted in and will be sworn in at the January 8 meeting. The new officers, those who form the Executive Committee, are Tillman Sherman, Chair; Margaret Copenhaver, Vice-Chair; Sharon Romano, Treasurer; and Tami Chesnut, Member-at-Large. The new members voted in are Ginger Griffin, District 2; Barry Griffin, District 2 Alternate; and Billie McArthur, District 4.....

San Andreas, CA...In arguably the biggest issues on Tuesday BOS agenda the Board narrowly approved changes to the legal access policy for the county. Supervisors Wilensky, Thomas & Claudino voted to pass the new ordinance that will hopefully clarify the thorny Legal Access issue in the county...

Markleeville, CA...The Fiscal Impact Analysis is not part of the EIR or part of the EIR process. It is a separate study prepared under the County’s direction. It is being provided for public information. There is no specific public comment period on this document. It will be used by the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors as part of their deliberations on the proposed project. The appropriate time to comment on the fiscal impact of the proposed project will be during the public hearing process on the proposed project which will follow completion of the EIR process. ....

Calaveras County, CA...The SWRCB is holding eleven workshops throughout the State in order to receive public comments on the proposed regulations and on the adequacy of the associated Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR).
