Angels Camp, CA...Crowning events on Thursday leap the Fair into action. Headlining the night was the crowing of the 2022 Miss Calaveras. Paytin Curran, who is also valedictorian at Calaveras High School. First runner-up was Jillian Nord. The second runner-up was Brooklyn Galligan. Morgan Fautt roped in 2022 Saddle Queen honors and first runner-up was Krysten Bradford. Full Pageant video and photos of the event are below. Angels Camp, CA...It was wonderful to see the Frog Jump Youth Parade kick off the 2022 Calaveras Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee yesterday morning. The crowds and the traditions were back. The Soroptimists of Calaveras County always do a great job putting on this parade that has been a Angels Camp tradition for the last 75 years. Full Photo Gallery at bottom of article on new site...

The 2022 Frog Jump Youth Parade Video

Angels Camp, CA...It was wonderful to see the sidewalks fill, the floats lined up and ready to go and the 2022 Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee hop off to a great start. The crowd was easily back at it's pre covid levels as another institution and community event made it out the other side. We took photos of every float and entrant and are sorting them now.
