Angels Camp, CA...We are happy to see the return of dog shows this year and welcome everyone to Barktoberfest October 16-17. Due to scheduling conflict, the show this year will be held at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, (Frogtown), in Angels Camp. We are thrilled to welcome breed clubs for English Setters, Irish red & White Setters, English Cocker Spaniels, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Bernese Mountain Dogs and Papillons for specialties and supported entries. We will also have the 4 – 6 month puppy classs, obedience and rally trials and the National Owner Handler Series. For our Junior Handlers: please enjoy a pizza lunch on Saturday.

Angels Camp, CA...(Frogtown, USA)...The event is a Friends of the Calaveras County Fair fundraiser. All proceeds benefit improvements to the Fairgrounds. The show is at 5:30 p.m., Gates open at 3 p.m. There will be food and beverage vendors! (no pets please) Tickets still available at the Fair office: $15 for adults, $10 for kids, Kid's ages 5 and under free! Also available online

Arnold, CA...Veteran’s Day Spaghetti Feed offered by Ebbetts Pass Loyal Order of the Moose. Spaghetti, garlic bread and salad will be served from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on November 11th. Veterans that show their veteran’s card eat free! Non-veterans are also welcome for $6.

Angels Camp,CA...In country music, a last name like LeDoux casts a big, storied and bittersweet shadow, but it's one Ned LeDoux doesn't mind standing in one bit. Having been a drummer in his dad Chris' band Western Underground since 1998, Ned knew from an early age that he had "no plan b" but to play music, "Once I got the taste of the road, and being in front of a crowd and just the sound of it, it was...freedom."
