Bear Valley, CA...Today Rain at lower elevations...and rain and snow at higher elevations. Highs 32 to 44 higher elevations...41 to 51 lower elevations. Snow accumulation 2 to 4 inches higher elevations. Snow level 6000 feet. Prevailing south winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph. Over ridges...prevailing southwest winds 25 to 45 mph decreasing to 25 to 35 mph in the afternoon. Tonight Rain showers at lower elevations...and rain and snow showers at higher elevations. Lows 25 to 40 higher elevations... 36 to 46 lower elevations. Snow accumulation up to 2 inches higher elevations. Snow level 6000 feet. Prevailing south winds up to 15 mph...except southwest 15 to 35 mph over ridges...

8th Annual Klassen Klassic Turkey Trot ~ Presented By Riley Klassen |

Murphys, CA - Riley Klassen and the Klassen family present the 8th Annual Klassen Klassic Turkey Trot, taking place at Murphys Community Park on November 27, 2014. The event consists of a road race-open to serious runners, as well as walkers, joggers, kids, strollers, and dogs. Two distances are available, a 2.5 mile as well as a 5. Both courses start and end at the Murphys park. Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable canned food item as their registration fee. Registration will start at 8 am, and the race will start at 9am. Registration fee is one item of canned food per person. Commemorative T-SHIRTS will be sold for $20, proceeds will go to local food bank to assist families in need....

Murphys, CA....BurgerZ has been sold and will undergo a transformation.
"What a Great run. We have been blessed to be able to be part of a wonderful community while meeting some incredible people as well as making some lifelong friends. Thank you all for your support and friendship. We will miss being part of your lives, as the Burger guyz. Our future holds a move to Washington next summer taking with us some incredible memories of our place in the community we have come to love.....
