Of course we applaud everything tech related in our area and we thought it very, very cool and potentially lucrative for them to expand in this area. From RarePlantStore.com "We have collected an extensive variety of suppliers and growers of rare and unusual plants during the 27 years our garden center has been in business. Our retail business is located near a service station in a much visited nook of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Over the years, while fueling their vehicles, many people, from all over the United States, have come to our garden center to visit and stretch their legs. The most often heard remark from these visitors is some version of “I can’t believe the selection you offer here. Our local garden center closed and now all the big box chains offer the same few plants.” We knew we had quite a selection, but we didn’t know how unusual our offerings were. So we started looking online to discover that we had many selections that were not available or could offer the ones that were at a better price..

Murphys, CA...All the features offered by Apple’s popular iTunes application will be the main topic at the next meeting of the Sierra Macintosh Users Group (SMUG) to be held, Tuesday, March 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the community room of the Murphys Library, 480 Park Lane, adjacent to Murphys Park. The application has many functions. It is a media player, media library, and online radio broadcaster used to play, download, and organize digital audio and video on personal computers and other electronic devices. Through the iTunes Store, users can purchase and download music, music videos, television shows, audiobooks, podcasts, and movies.....

| Murphys, CA...Randall “Randy” Michael Lagomarsino, born Sept. 9, 1948, passed on Saturday Feb. 21, 2015 at the age of 66. Randy was born and raised in Murphys, CA. After graduating from Calaveras High School and attending Columbia College he went on to work and retire from PG&E after 40 years as a meter reader. Randy also served on the UPA, UPUD and Murphys Sanitary. In his free time he loved to spend time on his ranch with his 6 grandchildren... |
