Pianist, Robin Wells To Perform in Murphys |

Murphys, CA...Pianist Robyn Wells will be performing a concert of classical music on Wednesday, June 15 at the First Congregational Church of Murphys, 496 Church St. in Murphys. The concert, which begins at 7:00pm, is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted. The concert to be presented features works by Brahms, Fauré, Chopin, Saint-Saëns, Mendelssohn, and Scriabin. The program, “A Grand Romance,” is a celebration of this prolific and masterful era of music. The highlight of the program is the set of 24 Preludes, Op. 11 by Scriabin—a series of miniature snapshots of varied and extraordinary moods and techniques. ....

Romeo & Juliet will be opening for the Murphys Creek Theatre on Friday June 24th and closing on Saturday July 30th. Show times will be 8:00pm. John Gallagher came from France to direct Romeo and Juliet and share his creative vision to the performance of this well known story. John has been involved with all aspects of the performing arts and honed his craft all over the world. Murphys Creek Theatre as well as those who know John, welcome him with open arms and look forward to watching him transform Romeo and Juliet into an event not to be missed.....
