Season's First Winter Stom Moving in Sunday Night |

Bear Valley, CA...The first significant winter storm of the season will move into our area Sunday night. Between Sunday night and Early Tuesday up to 1/2 inch of rain at lower elevations. Above 5,500 feet 6 - 9 inches of snow and up to a foot at the highest elevations is possible. Wind gusts of up to 50 mph are possible over the ridges. The storm warning and special weather statement from the National Weather Service is enclosed...
The graphic above should give you a good indication of weather at the different elevations in the county. It starts at Bear Valley and drops to Arnold, Murphys, Angels Camp and Copperopolis. |

Murphys, CA...Faith Lutheran is going to hold another swap meet, this one will be November 3rd at Faith Lutheran Church, Mitchler & Hwy 4 behind Village Mart in Murphy.
Time: Vendors setup - 6:30am
Shoppers - 8:00am - 4:00pm
Vendor take down - 4:00pm-5:00pm
Stall rental fees:
Single stall - $30
Double stall - $40
Quad stall - $60
All stalls require $20 clean up deposit....

Thanks to the Merritt Family Trust, we are able to offer this shopping opportunity in Calaveras County! Look for fabulous clothing, rare finds, books, jewelry, furniture, kitchenware, the kids’ room, our own hand made gift section, and so much more. All sales fund the programs at MSC.
