Murphys...It's Cocktail Hour! Historic Murphys Hotel Owners Win Planning Commission Approval of New Sign!

Posted by: thepinetree on 08/21/2008 03:27 PM
San Andreas, CA...The Murphys Hotel will finally get a new sign. In what has been a lengthy process the Murphys Hotel has won the right to replace the aging sign with a new recreation of the 1940's era sign that adorned the front of the Hotel. Joe Cocker & Steve Miller Was "Beautiful" and "Flying Like An Eagle" ~ By John Hamilton

Posted by: thepinetree on 08/19/2008 08:25 AM
Murphys, CA...The Beautiful Ironstone Amphitheater was filled to the brim on Sunday Night. Joe Cocker put on a wonderful show to start things off! A person tends to forget just how many great songs he has recorded over the year. He sang all of the Classics including "You Are So Beautiful To Me", "Up Where We Belong" and many, many more. You could tell that Joe puts everything he has into a show. With his classic and unmistakable voice ringing out over the vineyards it was "Beautiful" indeed....
